The Anthem Blue Cross and Arthritis Foundation Unite with Forces to Aid Arthritis Patients and Improve Their Lives

Reading, CA (October 24, 2021) – To help patients, the Blue Cross Anthem Foundation gave grants to the Arthritis Foundation Company to expand its services to give more education to Arthritis patients and give affected one’s authentic knowledge about the disease to lessen the disability and pain of thousands of arthritis patients. The classes organized by the arthritis foundation are known by people nationwide. They are regarded as a body helping for wiping away arthritis and getting control over the spread of this chronic disease. The class series offered is known by the Department of the health of California State and the center for disease prevention and control. The class series educates people on certain topics related to arthritis, like reducing the pain and swelling associated with arthritis disease. The classes show tremendous response and results by patients as some of them said the series helped to lessen 18% of the arthritis pain and 25% increase in body function.

However, classes are categorized into three types of programs: Aquatics helps reduce stiffness and pains, Exercise classes for strength and flexibility, Ease walk classes for increased confidence and functions. This program of life enhancement is currently serving eleven thousand people. The grant offered by Anthem Blue Cross will help Arthritis Foundation in serving another nine thousand people who are trapped in this crisis.
